I booked surgery with him and had outstanding insurance (which costs me $1500.00) per month. He chose to book an assistant outside my network without advising or asking me. This was not emergency surgery. He chose a nursing service RN Michelle Caskey and she in turn billed me for out of network services. Her bill was 4x's what the anesthesiologists, hospital or even Dr. weiner's charges were. She sent me to collection because I stated it was done without my approval and furthermore I would not have agreed to anyone outside my network BCBS. Dr. Weiner refused to speak to me regarding it. His staff told me he can choose whoever he wants. They agreed and acknowledged I had not be advised BUT it was up to Michele Caskey.After 3 months of phone calls and wrangling I decided to impact my perfect credit for this unethical and dishonest practice! I consider this blackmail!
