I visited Cake twice and have vowed never to return. Though the clothing and atmosphere was good, the customer service was non-existent. On both visits to the store, I felt as though the staff was going out of their way to ignore me. Repeatedly, several sales girls passed within a few feet of me, while organizing the racks, looked directly at me and said nothing. Not even a smile or 'hi.' Another instance I was admiring a pair of earrings in a glass case and would like to have tried them on had the girl behind the case acknowledged me. Alas, I was ignored again. The Cake girls should learn that the products alone will not keep customers coming back. It's the overall experience of shopping there, including a friendly staff, that earns repeat customers.
