Review content:
Took in my self propelled Yard Machines mower for a tune up to the carburetor. Waited a few days for repair... days became weeks, months, and over two years. Said they couldn't get parts yet but would give me another comparable used mower when one came in. I would call every few weeks and they would assure me they would get me another mower. I continued to use my other mower until today that one finally broke down too. So I took that one in for repair, and the owner/mechanic refused to work on it (Sears Craftsman) because it was ""too old"". I said, well then I would like my old mower back to see if I could get someone else to fix it since I needed a mower right away, and showed him my claim ticket. He replied, ""We don't keep mowers left for more than 30 days, and if you don't like it, you can go get a lawyer."" I replied, your inside sales and repair folks promised me I would get another used one, but never did call me back. He replied, ""You're upsetting me and I want you off of my property... I'm the owner here... you're not getting your old mower back, I don't know anything about your getting another one, and I'm not going to fix your mower you brought here... now leave!"" Being a Christian, I said, ""O.k., have it your way."" I understood he had put time into my old mower and ended up empty handed because of non-availability of parts and didn't want to get stuck with another old model if he couldn't fix that either. My point is that no one told me I couldn't get my mower back... I could have put another engine on it, tried elsewhere, etcetera. They disposed of my mower without my knowledge, and the numerous times I talked with the employee I was assured everything was being done to fix or replace it. The owner's attitude was rather rude and uncalled for considering I did everything I could do to hold up my end of the bargain by patiently waiting for the resolution his employees said would eventually happen. So, I drove over to another lawn mower repair facility and they welcomed me with gracious service and a smile, and had no problem repairing my mower. Everyone was very courteous and the price was within budget and the work to be completed in a very reasonable time frame. I'm not saying Lawn Mowers Unlimited folks are bad... I'm just telling you to watch out for their policy that you must get your mower within 30 days or you may never see it again, and then you may get empty promises, and finally you may be treated as if you are some kind of adversary even if you remain cordial and cooperative. Buyer beware.
Pros: Convenient Location
Cons: Won't give you back your mower after 30 days if unrepaired!!
