Review content:
I think it's from the same family as RO's. The food has been the same since I was a kid (now 70). I can't remember when we didn't have ROs and Black's BBQs. I know I was very young. I went there with my parents, and my dates, and even my husband, even when he was my boyfriend. I love it and could eat it every day. It's not like all that other messy BBQ you find at Sticky Fingers, etc. nor any of those Texas joints. The slaw is unique. No-one in the world can make it like they do. I've been trying for 50 years. I love the slaw just on a bun and that tender plain pork just on a bun with a little mustard. When I get to go back home to visit, I always go by there and buy a qt. of it and a qt. of their chili. DELISH. And a livermush sandwich. The pork is tender and delicious, the slaw has a hint of hot pepper (or something) in it, enough to make me reach for my water. So that should satisfy anyone who wants sauce on their BBQ. The chili is more like a sauce, it doesn't have big chunks of meat in it, but there is meat (or all of this applies to when I was up there last). (I miss it so much.) And I don't like big chunks of meat in my chili. And NEVER BEANS. Oh, how I'd like to have some right now. Mr. Black, PLEASE SEND ME SOME SLAW, PORK, AND CHILI. I'll pay you for it. Just tell me how much it is. Because I don't think I'll be able to come up there anytime soon. My children all have to work and don't really get vacations. The carhops are so friendly, and eager to please. They are also very polite. At least the ones I've encountered over the years. I absolutely can say for sure that it is the best BBQ, Hamburger, Hotdog, Slawburger, and Livermush Sandwich in the entire world. You can put whatever you want on the BBQ, give me mine plain. Pros: The best fast food anywhere. Best Prices, and atmosphere, eating in one's car, and having it delivered right to your window
