Businiess name:  Barker, Patrick, Dvm - Sun Valley Animal Hospital

Review content:
Great experience there. Dr. Barker is knowledgeable, caring and thorough. The staff if positive, friendly and very helpful. I was not only able to visit my guy during his hospitalization but actually encouraged to come and spend time with him . It's too bad some people have reported a very negative experience, but blaming the vet for a pet's death is wrong in the same way that blaming the owner for letting the pet get sick is wrong. All vets, and doctors, lose patients; they're doctors, not miracle workers; and it certainly doesn't mean that the doctor didn't do everything within his power to save the pet. My pet is very elderly. Dr. Barker was honest in his comments and suggestions for making the rest of his life as good as possible and for treating him reasonably rather than putting him through a lot of stress and pain that might not result in the desired outcome. I appreciate that. I understand that people lash out in their grief, but it isn't fair to take their grief out on the people who tried to help them, as it seems these people have done in a very public way.
