I just attended a wedding @ this location. It is spectacularly beautiful & I can imagine staying a weekend here would be incredibly relaxing. EXCEPT for Kris & her so called ""Site Coordinator"". They are overbearing & incredibly rude. \r \r I called the site 2 mos. before the wedding & talked to owner Kris who was so rude on the phone that I decided that my family would stay @ another lovely B&B 10 miles away. I was flabbergasted at how rude she was to a potential customer. \r \r The ""Site Coordinator"" yelled @ the Grooms Mother & Sister & a guest for moving a table to get the wedding cake out of the sun. She also yelled at other wedding guests for going into the house for using the bathroom. The house wasn't rented out for the wedding party to spend time in, but the bathrooms MUST be available. I also heard that @ 11am they rushed the bridesmaids and the Bride out of her room while still getting ready. No other guests were booked in those rooms. \r \r Half way through the reception the owner locked the doors that go out to the ""dance floor"" so no one could come in, even her employees who were busing tables! She locked her own employees out of the house! Eventually a sign was put up directing people to another door.. The sign should have been up at the beginning.\r \r The food was bland and cold. Extremely crowded & half of the guests weren?t able to see the 1st dance. The wooden folding chairs were uncomfortable & felt very unstable in the dirt @ Redwood Grove. \r \r Some advice for owner and staff: BE NICE! Weddings are stressful, your tone when speaking to your guests is VERY important. Do not project your stress on to those attempting to help you. If you have a different plan, validate their concern & fix the situation. Don't yell at them & scold them. Ask politely & then communicate your plan to make things work. You insulted the Grooms mother, sister, & sister in law directly in front of other guests. How embarrassing & rude. You need to apologize. Pros: Beautiful location Cons: Staff attitude is horrid
