The rudest hostess we ever met!! On 8/05/06 my wife and I went into this place, we had just walked out of another restaurant that we could not get waited on just simply ignored us, So as we told the horrible hostess about this, she assured us that we would be very happy here and it would only be a short wait.we went to the bar to get a drink and after about 25 minutes my wife asked how much longer it would be. The hostess pointed to a 4 seat table and said that she could not seat us there we have to wait for a two seat table. That was understandable, except right after that she sat two people at that same table? Then a couple of minutes later we saw another couple come and walk up to the hostess and next we saw was them sitting at a two seat table! So as the hostess walk by we ask her why the people who just came in got seat before us. She replied that it was the cooks parents so as long as we waited, they value the cooks parents more then a new customer. So we walked out and as we did the hostess said that she would have a table in just a minute, yea a minute too late, so as we left I was so mad we went in to the liquor store in front of the restaurant and asked for the manager or owner. OH yea quick side note, When we asked the bartender for the manager or owner he said that ""I'm just the bar tender and walked away from us... \r
Ok so out come the owner and we tell him the story of how unhappy we were. He ask us if we would stay and we reluctantly stayed because it was now very late and we were hungry. So the waitress who by the way she very nice said the drinks were on the owner\r
(If it were my place dinner would have been on the house at this point). Anyway the hostess came back over and started to beat my ear rudely about how if we had just waited we would have gotten the next table. Yea after the regulars get seated and thats if no other regulars come in before us. SO thats why we tell everyone, DON'T GO TO WOODYS!
