Review content:
We used a real estate agent to help us find a property to rent in our price range and in a specific location. We found the perfect little apartment. When we went into Beach Cities Managements office to put our first and last. We were taken aback when the monthly rent was $300.00 higher than the listed MLS price. We walked out and deciding that we could find something better in our price range. Beach Cities Management called us an hour later and decided to honor the ""wrongly"" listed MLS price. (it's funny, because when our agent called into Beach Cities Management to have a tour of the property BCM put a lock box on this ""wrongly listed unit."" Strange!) Next, all the utilities that were listed ""pay for"" were changed in the final lease agreement that were suppose to be included in the original MLS listing. We still moved in despite all of these flaws because the property was is so charming. Then just this month, Beach Cities Management had a coupon on Yelp. Seemed like a great deal, for every hundred you pay you get $200.00 off rent. The coupon was vague but straight to the point. No where on the coupon did it say, ""For Management USE ONLY"" or ""Not to Tenant Use."" We purchased two and a family member purchased one for us as a Christmas Gift. Once we tried to redeem these coupons BCM refused to honor their own coupons. The BCM manger, Dustin, never apologized for the misunderstanding; However, he did treat us like we were trying to take advantage of the company and by him reimbursing our money that he was giving us a handout. We took the reimbursement. What else could we do? This company has had one misleading ad after another. I would never rent or do business with Beach Cities Management again!
