Spitale Salon is pretty upscale--- salon, gallery, laser spa, edgy and convenient (right near 12 corners in Brighton). It's all that - but the one thing it's not? Is pricey!
I only became aware of the salon due to initially getting involved with their web site but I wasn't much into the beauty business as it applied to my personal life. Well, let me tell you--- this evening my fiance and spent the evening there, and wow. We left very happy with our new looks! Albert had some laser hair removal done by Alice on his nose, face and brows while I was having my hair low lighted by Danny.
While my hair was processing, Albert managed to slip in for a hair style with Danny. (Can't have anything to myself anymore, lol!) Now Albert looks mad awesome with his new ""do"" and fresh face, and I don't know what Danny did to my hair (I left everything up to him to decide what color would be best and stuff), but the low lights he put in actually brought some of my natural highlights out and my hair now just -sizzles- with gorgeous well blended color.
Danny was meticulous, just very fun and friendly to talk with. The staff were all just so pleasant, but that didn't surprise me as I knew from working with Michael (Sr.) on the web site that he only works with nice people.
Albert and I were expecting a pretty hefty bill for all the work, and were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it all was. We were treated like movie stars and the bill was way less that we'd planned on.
Great place, great people, great service, great price. Spitale's is the total package.
Pros: Lovely decor, kind of old fashioned California laid back air
Cons: Probably the above pro's are the cons for some people
