Review content:
Art & Soul, being just walking distance from my office, has become a regular go-to for happy hours with my bosses and co-workers. Funny enough, I haven't eaten an actual entree here, but judging on both the drinks and the bar food and after hearing lots of praise from friends and co-workers, I'm sure the dishes in the main dining are excellent. As a happy hour spot, A&S is sometimes crowded (especially if Congress is in session), but I've never had an issue finding a place to sit. A&S' cheese plate is light and fresh and perfect to share; their crispy duck wings are the right amount of tang and spice. I also love their fried green tomatoes, and they definitely will remind any Southerner of home. Their cocktails are unique and tasty (I'm a fan of the Blueberry Smash) and their shaved ice cocktails are both refreshing on a hot day and as tasty as a popsicle. Oh and be aware of their awesome Old Bay chips, offered free at tables and refilled by request: they're addictive, and may make you full before you even get your dishes.
