This is a unique shop. The owner's family has been in oriental rug business for generations. So I thought he knows what he doing. As it turned out my hunch was correct. I have had my rugs cleaned by other people for years. Never totally satisfied. As each time there was a problem... color bleeding, chewed up fringes, you name it. All of these problems came to an end with my visit to Antique Oriental Rugs Center. Mind you I have a few rugs that are pretty large. I got my rugs back and they looked as if they came from the showroom. He also sells rugs. He has a small shop but when I went for a site visit just to check him out, I noticed a number of nice high quality rugs. When I am in the market for a new oriental rug, I'll be sure to go by his shop.
