Although I really should go to supercuts (just finished grad school and I'm broke!), I'm really picky about my hair. Its one of the things I will spend money on. I started going to Sit Still last summer, after finding them on the internet. I love the atmosphere--very laid-back and unpretentious. Their products are pricey (whose aren't?), but go the distance and perform really well (at least the UNITE line, which I love and use every day). Kazumi is my regular stylist, and I like getting something unique and ""just me"" every time I see her. However, I had to go in on short notice yesterday, and was recommended Tommy.\r \r Tommy did a wonderful job on my short, processed, previously botched (from a bargain basement hairstylist) hair. I had partial highlights and a haircut for under 200$, which I think is pretty good for the value. This is the best haircut I've gotten since, well, last time Kazumi cut my hair last summer! I'm glad to be back in LA, although it's going to be difficult to choose whether to book with Tommy or Kazumi--or any of the other fab stylists at sit still! Pros: products, staff, location--get what you pay for. Cons: a little pricey (but everywhere is)... too hard to pick a stylist!
