I bought my dress from Weddings with Joy at the Tacoma Wedding Expo. The staff was very helpful and freindly and I was offered a large discount. In addition to the discount on my dress, I was offered 30% off bridesmaid dresses. Of course this deal sounded amazing, and I loved the dress, so I bought it.\r

I tried calling the salon to see if I should make and appointment to try on dresses. When I ded not receive a return call, I sent an email. Again I had not response.\r

When I drove the hour south to have my bridesmaid try on dresses, I was again greeted with smiles and great attention. I had a great experiene in person and was excited to get to ordering once I found the perfect bridesmaid dress!\r

After much narrowing down, I called the salon to discuss dress prices. I was told I would receive a call back the following day regarding prices. I was also told that I would receive color swatches in the mail so that I would not have to drive the hour south once again.\r

I waited. Then waited some more. In the mean time, I ordered swatches directly from Alfred Angleo and i received them within the week. I called back almost two weeks later to and left a message stating that I was still waiting on the dress prices and the swatches form another designer. \r

A few more days went by and I still did not receive a call bcak. I called and left a message for Angela (the owner) to call me back. I was hoping to inform her about the lack of follow through that I was experiencing. I figured that an owner of a business would appreciate such feedback; chances are she is completely unaware that this had been going on.\r

I did not receive a return call fro her either. \r
\r
As valuble time was being wasted, i began to check out other salons. I was impresssed by the service I had received by other locations, and began to feel duped. I ordered another set of swatches from Moms Maids and More in Bellevue and received them within two days. Also, most of the time I called them I talked to an actual person. And when I did leave a message, the call was returned within the hour. I can't even tell you how much stress has been aleviated since pursuing other options. \r

Although the discounts may be tempting, I would advise others not to be fooled by the smiles and friendly persona face to face; once you pay for your dress and walk out the door, you may not ever hear from them again. \r

And by the way, I am still waiting for those return calls, email and swatches...\r
