I was up front that we would go with lowest bid. 4 days later I called to ask what he bid. That night, we made a decision to go with another person. I told him the range of bids we received. He scoffed and said I was a fool for choosing the lower bid. I was making a big mistake. He said I wasted his time for even calling him out (costing him $100) and that ""I shouldn't have done that."" I explained that we chose someone who is a professional painter whose work we had seen. I said we would have definitely chosen him it if weren't for the extra $1k. After his reaction, I knew we made the right decision for not going with him. I hope he finds this review and chooses to make a better decision to be more Professional and Polite to potential customers.
