Review content:
I went in last week around 12:30 because I have chest pain. I waited till almost 5pm. During the 4 hours I was there I asked them when I would receive help because I had chest pain and my arm was numb. Their answer was they didn't know and that it could be several more hours because they had others waiting a head of me. I went to my car to grab a sweater because it was really cold in the ER, when I got back they told me that since I left they took me out of the system and I would have to START ALL OVER. The new wait time would be at least another 5+ hours even though MY CHEST PAINS WHERE GETTING WORSE. The ""lady"" at the counter had a really bad attitude and didn't seem to give a damn about me. I asked if I could leave to eat and they told me it didn't work that way, that I would have to start all over (Am I supposed to wait 9 hours without eating?) Bottom line: I left the hospital feeling worse than when I had arrived. What kind of hospital treats someone like that who is having chest pains?! My name is Vanessa and I am leaving this review so that the hospital staff can know that I was treated poorly and that I will be letting everyone I can know about my experience. For Yelpers and all others, if you have a serious condition do not go here. If there is another hospital close by go there instead. Go to Whittier Pres. then
