Review content:
The Melting Pot is not a quick meal, and we expect to linger over the many courses when we visit ... which is why we were surprised when only minutes after paying out bill, we were approached by the general manager and in no uncertain terms asked to leave our table. He did mumble something about champagne in the bar, but we were so taken aback and embarrassed that we did not want to stay another minute. We felt that the situation was handled badly as our waitperson never said that she needed the table (it was 9:00 on a weeknight) and instead immediately elevated the situation to the manager, who quite frankly could use some sensitivity training in dealing with patrons. This was after we spent over two hundred dollars for a party of four and tipped our waitress 20 percent. We felt unwelcome at this establishment and our evening was ruined.
Pros: Great ambiance and fun for special occasions
Cons: Management
