Review content:
Wednesday Jan 18, 2012. We decided to eat breakfast at Boma. I went on the internet to check what was listed and saw it was a buffet breakfast being offered. I am not usually prone to use buffet service, especially in a restaurant where kids are served, but I thought we could go check it out. I saw online adult meals were $14.95 and kids were somewhere around $7.95 so off we went. Getting to the reservation desk we saw the place was almost empty, and I thought it strange we were made to feel as though we would not be seated unless we had a reservation. They wanted our name, where we were staying, and our room number, which I thought was none of their business, but my wife cooperated. We were then told breakfast for an adult was $19.99, and children $12.99 or so. Far more that I had just seen listed online, but then to top off the added cost they said my 10 year old granddaughter would be priced as an adult. This was ridiculous, so we left. \r
The bad part was that we went to Mara restaurant, and after that experience we decided to not eat at any other Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurants during our 8 day stay at the Jambo House.
