Businiess name:  Das Meyer Fine Pastry Chalet
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I have been hearing about Das Meyer for a while from my mother in law. She raved about the cakes and pastries. When I got engaged we immediately went there for a tasting. Their flavors can't be beat with creations like stawberries and champagne, chocolate raspberry truffle, and orange dream. Their cakes turn out beautifully and the customer service more than met my expectations. There is something romantic about ordering my wedding cake from a family owned bakery rather than Safeway. Not to mention the taste and artistic quality are outstanding. I can't recommend Das Meyer to enough people. Be sure to visit AT LEAST six months prior to your wedding because they book up fast. And although this bakery has a family owned and family friendly atmosphere, I would not suggest bringing children. It is not an enormous place and there are display cakes and breakables everywhere! Pros: Quality, taste, price, free tastings on Saturdays Cons: Don't take credit cards
