We have been getting Das Meyer cakes for years and have never been let down - tasted great, awesome decorations - but I just cut into my birthday cake and was surprised to see it was NOT what we ordered. We ordered white chocolate with raspberry filling. No raspberry filling. My husband called to inquire what was going on and they told him ""Oh, yeah we gave you a $5 discount because we didn't have raspberry today"". What? They never even bothered to tell him in person that it wasn't the cake he ordered.\r

They offered to make me a 6"" miniature complimentary cake in the flavor I ordered, but tonight is my birthday and birthday party - nice try. And 6""? Not even the real thing? They refused to refund our money. On top of it all, the cake was disgusting. I have never been disappointed in their cakes - but this was almost ""wet"" tasting, and the filling (without raspberry, of course) was too thin and watery.\r

We will NOT be using them for any functions in the future.
Pros: Beautiful decorating
Cons: VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
