Review content:
It has recently been brought to my attention that there are some negative reviews on many different sites regarding Aborn Pet Clinic. I wish to address those comments.
I would like to start out by stating that Aborn Pet Clinic is “Under New Management”. Aborn Pet Clinic was owned and operated by Dr. Webb for many years. As Dr. Webb illness progressed the clinic was run by staff. When Dr. Webb passed away, the clinic remained opened and run with incompetent employees. I believe that this is where the negative comments are directed.
I have been told of procedures, prescribed medications and more done by the staff without a Veterinary doctor present. When the current staff of doctors, technicians and office staff took over the clinic, it was in complete disarray. Files had not been updated with procedures, medications, vaccinations and more. Files were stacked and stored in boxes. Dog and cat foods, medications and other products were sold well below the clinic’s actual cost. And sadly remains of pets were left without any type of identification. I have read that animals boarded were left completely alone which may have occurred with the previous staff. That statement does not apply to the current staff. They do not board animals. They do not staff the clinic after 6:00 p.m. so all animals are picked up by this time.
Now under new management when you stop by Aborn Pet Clinic, you will find patient files in order and updated. Medications are stored properly and products are marked with corrected costs. Of course many clients were upset with the corrected costs but they are also a business and remain competitive in their pricing for products and services.
I hope that you will stop by and meet Aborn Pet Clinic’s Veterinary Doctors and Staff. Dr. Charles Eck, the medical director has provided pets in the San Jose area with high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. Dr. Singh, Dr. Kang and the staff strive to deliver the very best in veterinary medicine in a warm and friendly environment.
Whether your pet is in for an exam or requires major surgery, they are capable of performing most surgical procedures, from routine spays and neuters, soft-tissue surgeries, dentistry and more.
They look forward to working with you to keep your pet healthy and happy!
Pros: Doctor Eck is the best Vet around
Cons: Small Facility
