Review content:
Took my husband for his 60th birthday party, along with his family visiting from Detroit and my 92 year old dad to Scott's for dinner. Ordered appetizers and drinks and put in our dinner order. While having our appetizers, heard a waitress yell out and looked at her and saw her look of horror. Asked her what was the matter, she did not answer. She talked to another waitress who ran to the kitchen and quite a few staff went in the kitchen to talk. Then a man came out from in back of the restaurant with a can and we saw a HUGE rat run over one of the booth seats onto the table and disappeared. Then they started taking the booth seats apart, right while we were sitting there, to look for the rat!\r While I insisted that our dinner be comped, and it was, the whole experience of seeing a huge rat run across the booth right next to us made us all feel ill. My husband and I have been enjoying Scott's for years and in fact my husband was there on the original opening day. We will never go back now as the vision of the rat, the staff taking apart the booths, and the whole distasteful event on my husband's 60th birthday has left a horrible impression in our minds and our stomach. Is the food good? Yes, but now I wonder, if there is one rat running through the restaurant, how many more are there and do they get into the food at all? I know they have a rodent prevention program, but when you see a HUGE rat run across the table, you can only think the program is not working. We are very sad but will not ever go back to Scott's again, nor will I be taking my staff there for birthday lunches any more. And, how sad that on such a special occassion as my husband's 60th birthday, which I trusted to Scott's to make special, our memory is of a huge rat next to our table.
