Review content:
My girlfriend and several others had an absolutely wonderful experience here this past weekend. We had reserved for 8 and were quickly and easily presented a table, even in the middle of what seemed to be a very busy night. Our server was very attentive and quick witted as well, getting us all into good spirits (literally) right away. On that note, the wine list is spectacular and we were easily coached through it in accordance with what we were ordering for dinner. Fantastic meal, including an encrusted Ahi tuna steak, roasted duck, prime rib and a blackberry tuna salad, some of our servers' (Michael) recommendations. We had a fabulous appetizer of oysters Rockefeller which was a special that evening, and some calamari, thank goodness not fried for once, but sauteed with marinara and served brushetta style over some toasty crostinis and with parmesan. The GM (Garth) is a sommelier and what a great idea for such a wine oriented restaurant. The staff seems to be well coached in wine as well, and service was better than we could ask for. Bread before the meal is crusty and delicious and from Provance, I believe Michael said. Drinks were refilled, more bread brought during our meal and wonderful desserts. One of the winners was the chocolate tort. Ask about the dessert list because it not only lists the desserts but it is an extensive list of cordials, single malts, etc. This is a great dinner spot and though I have yet to try lunch, I have been to brunch on Sunday and I only need to say that I highly recommend the food at this restaurant. Oh and the ambiance is just perfect. Everything feels mellow and low key. Good stuff!!!\r
Pros: Food, service, wine list, valet
