Review content:
An old friend was texting me from Bistro 215 before a movie, it wasn?t long before I found myself dining alone at the Bistro 215. It was dark lit and enchanting. I was seated in a comfortable cloth covered booth with a nice solid wood table, a dim lit lamp attached to the wall was illuminating my table. I selected the salmon from the menu, & requested a bold red wine and some bread. I couldn?t resist sending her a text to let her know I was dining in the Bistro that she had drinks in before the movie. That?s how my text date began. She was out with friends she hadn?t seen in awhile, but it was only seconds until I had a reply, ?Bistro 215?? She was shocked. She texted, ?I?m glad you are enjoying places I like to go?. I quickly replied with an ?It?s just working out that way?. Brian was back with the bread and wine in a flash. I dipped some bread into the virgin olive oil with spices, it was a delish. The salmon was on a bed of seasoned to perfection mashed potatoes and complimented with seared squash, zucchini, & a couple of thin sliced potatoes. The salmon was a meaty piece that was flaking to perfection. It was caramelized on the bottom but the caramelizing was tender. My omega-3 fatty acids were going to be a delight. Another text, ?So how?s the food?? ?Its amazing, the food will get an excellent review, I?m pretending to be a critic.? Brian was back and as we were chatting he suggested I have dessert on the house. I accepted, & allowed him to select the dessert after naming off at least 7 delish sounding desserts. He brought me a warmed pecan pie, that had to have been spooned onto the crust just seconds ago along with alamode, & caramel swirled all over the whole plate in a fancy design, yum, & a cup of coffee. My last text to her, after dessert, ?That was great, take me I?m yours.? I hope I see her soon, but to be honest, I?d take another text date too. It was fun. Having her there would have made the rating a 10.
