Review content:
Save your money and your time, at $3.25 per cupcake, this place is definitely not worth it! I had the red velvet cupcake and was extremely disappointed- the cake was dry and unflavorful, the icing was heavy and sweet. I probably could've made something better tasting at home. I'm from NYC, and after hearing all the praises, I expected this place to be on par with Crumbs and Magnolia- but Sprinkles isn't even worthy of comparison. To make matters worse, I had to wait outside for about 10 minutes to even get inside since the place is so cramped. This place does not live up to the hype! If you like good desserts, take your money and go to Doughboys- they have a red velvet cake which is worth waiting outside for.
Pros: Nice packaging, presentation, upscale locale and feel
Cons: overpriced, dry cake, cramped quarters and long wait outside to enter the establishment
