If there is one thing everyone knows or talks about in LA it's sprinkles cupcakes. Each cupcake costs $3.25. I thought after hearing all the raves and seeing the cost that these had to be good. They were only average. While the variety is impressive, the icing is often way too hard, the cake part often dry and overall they taste stale. I have tried multiple flavors and specialties at different times over the past year and still have yet to be wowed. I even went first thing in the morning to get some for an office party, per my coworkers request, thinking the fresh baked ones would taste better and I found no difference. In fact my coworkers suggestedthe next time we plan on buying cupcakes I go to another local bakery where we have found amazing cupcakes. In my opinion these are overpriced and over rated for cupcakes that are only so-so. There are plenty of other bakeries in town that serve cupcakes that are much tastier and worth the $3.25. Unless you are having an emergency and need a cupcake and a sprinkles cupcake is all you can get, I wouldn't recommend it .
