Review content:
I joined Citysearch just to write a redeeming review for Root Excavation. I employed Root Excavation to perform a sewer scope before I bought my house and, after I purchased the house, to replace the sewer line which they had identified as broken and a party line (disallowed in the city of Portland). For the duration of the work the employees were professional and thorough. They also offered a more comeptitive bid for the sewer repair than other contractors I talked to. Firstly, they identified the problems with the sewer line and made a DVD of the sewer scope so we and the sellers could see the problems for ourselves and use that information in negotiations. Secondly, each time I called I got a quick response from a knowledgable employee and I was kept up to date on the timeline for repairs. Thirdly, they repaired the sidewalk and yard that was dug up during the work and left the area in good condition. Overall, I had a good experience with Root Excavation and I would use them again.
