Review content:
I stopped into this bright little spot one evening last week to find the friendliest woman and the tastiest little morsels. I bought a box of assorted mini cupcakes (many of them un-noticeably gluten-free) and finished half the box before they made it home. I especially loved the key lime pie and strawberry cupcakes but they were all delicious! I have tried gluten-free desserts before only to be disappointed in how dry and tasteless they are. I promise you I would NEVER have known these were gluten-free if the sales woman (I think the owner actually!) hadn't told me.
They also had an assortment of other desserts, cakes, cookies, etc. and I saw a beautiful (!) three-tiered wedding cake in the fridge. I don't think I'm the only one who enjoys Sweet Cake's treats since the glass case was almost licked clean by time I go there at closing. Always a good sign.
Pros: Cute! Yummy! Gluten free! Open late!
Cons: Kirkland parking
