Review content:
We booked a large party at this place as we had great experience with a number of parties there before. The music was great-- the band did a wonderful job and the dance floor was always packed and had enough space to accommodate everyone. The food however, was subpar. We ordered banquet style catering but the amount of food was visibly smaller than at our previous parties there (prior to the recession) probably b/c management is trying to cut costs and keep prices same. Some of the dishes we ordered were obviously reheated - quail and sea bass (also likely due to cost cuts), while others were a bit over salted (could have been a simple kitchen mistake). When I asked management (owner) to explain what’s going on, I was told that I should go have a good time on the dance floor, and that I cant judge food as well as they do b/c of their 20 years in the business. If you want to organize a large party, I strongly recommend Baku Palace, only a few blocks away, but with much better food, friendlier atmosphere, similar prices and great music.
Pros: location, music selection, large dance floor, good interior
Cons: food not fresh, management not accommodating
