My husband and I went to Simi Valley to go to the dmv there. Simi dmv is known for their short lines so we drove out there from East LA. We came across this deli restaurant on our way back home for a quick bite for dinner. My husband ordered a the skirt steak with mashed potatoes and fat steak fries and he loved it since it's really hard to find a place that has a juicey steak usually they are really dry.... and for me I had the chicken fried steak with the white country gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans which i hardly eat but they have a special taste to it and I enjoyed dipping it in the country gravy and for dessert we shared a vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. The dessert menu is only a few items since this is a deli restaurant. There were a lot of deli food items to choose from and they all looked great. This is a place that I would like to come back when I am visiting Simi Valley since the owner and staff make you feel comfortable and welcome and I had a great time here.
