Review content:
I thought it was a nice hotel that would live up to their prices, but I was wrong. I rented a 1 bedroom villa and when I arrived it was 85 degrees in my room, so I turned on the air conditioner, but it didn't work very well. They sent an engineer up to the room to fix it and I headed off to dinner. When I returned it was 82 degrees in the room, so they sent another engineer up. They said they fixed it. Then I went to the pool and came back to the room where it was 81 degrees. So it cooled down 4 degrees in about a 6 hour time period. So they moved me to another room where it was 79 degrees and it took until morning for this room to get down to 70 degrees. Let me remind you that it was mid May when I stayed and the high outside was about 85, I can't imagine what the rooms are like in the middle of summer when it is 100 degrees outside. All in all they were nice on the phone when I called but you could tell they didn't truly care that my room was hot. At the end they gave me 2 free rounds of miniatrure golfing, which is worth $10, however they wasted about 4 hours of my time on my short stay. They never offered anything else in compensation or really seemed to care. They asked how my stay was and I told them it wasn't good, and they said sorry. Sorry doens't really mean anything to me, especially when you know they don't really give a hoot, they just want your money. If I were you, I would stay at Homestead or somewhere else. The facilities are nice but the service is not.
