Even though I haven't been the biggest fan of hd - I am so thrilled at the flooring (from carpeting to wood laminate) job they just completed. Bruce, from flooring, went out of his way to make sure we had the right conditions for the new floor - and gave me the best $$ deal you could imagine - it couldn't be beat. The contractors used by home depot went beyond their contract and leveled the floor, moved the furniture, and repaired any nuances that was under the rug. The wood laminate just looks great - and it was hd's brand, not a super expensive alternative. The job looks so good, I'm thinking of just doing the whole bottom floor of my house.
