Review content:
I have been to Tomasso Trattoria once, and only once. Though it was a plus to be seated an hour early, not much else was good. I couldn't get a reservation for the time I wanted to be there, but I checked in at that time and there weren't many customers there, so we got sat an hour early (why even reserve a time?). It filled up a bit more, but not overfull, and they sponsored a wine tasting in their market next door! Then I found out why. The waiter was slow, uninformed and a little arrogant, not to mention sloppily dressed. The wines by the glass were few and the price of bottles was borderline obscene. The food was fine, but way too high-priced and small-portioned for plain Italian food, especially with so many competitors in the area.\r
The ambiance was not quite right either. It appeared, at first, to be romantic. But then we were sat at a small table cramped between other small tables with a view of the grill area. My wife and I were eager to leave, as it felt as though we were being swindled out of our money.
Pros: location
Cons: PRICE and service
