Review content:
Spent a lot of money on what turned out to be a defective landscape trailer. Menards and the company they purchased the trailer from have ignored my complaints about the defective hitch on the trailer and the damage caused when it jumped from the ball on the truck and dragged behind me on the road. Thank goodness the emergency chains held out long enough for me to stop.\r

I had to pay for the repairs on my own.\r

If you are looking for a landscape trailer you should not buy from Menards because you simply don't know what you're getting and its obvious (to me) that Menards refuses to stand behind some of their products.\r

Worse yet is how they've handled the customer service aspect. It used to be that Menards valued their customers and would try hard to work with them to correct problems and complaints.\r
Guess in today's economy - that is a thing of the past.\r

Folks - be careful when shopping at Menards. I'm not telling you to go elsewhere; I can only tell you what you might get when shopping with this company.
Pros: Employees do a good job of being friendly and helpful
Cons: Lack of responsibility for products they sell.
