Review content:
This used to be one of our favorite places to have a good, casual meal-- not anymore. I know they have not changed chefs, but this place has substitued a wonderful menu for a lack-luster one. My wife and I would come he just for the fois gras-- taken off the menu; the mussels in the white, licorice sauce was perfection-- now they are served in a red sauce that is nothing. The pizzas are made hap-hazardly and without care-- there should not be more than an inch of crust and the ingredients shoud be placed uniformily throughout the pie, not piled on one section. My wife and I have been here twice since the new menu and won't be going back anytime soon. Why mess with perfection? Try new dishes, yes; take the perfect one's off, no! We will not be going back until later this spring when the new menu is revealed-- hopefully a better one than this winter's. We used to love this place. Pros: beautiful decor Cons: new menu is nothing to write about
