The first time I saw the Nightlife Big Band was when some friends got together to try swing dancing at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. It was a great time and we hired them to play at our wedding two years ago. They were incredible. The guy who ran than band was friendly and easy to work with. \r \r Since that time we have seen them perform at local concerts, Providence WaterFire, and the West Valley Inn in Warwick. They have that awesome big band swing sound of the old Sinatra and Count Basie records which is great for dancing or just listening to the interplay between the soloists. True professionals and definitely the best jazz big band the area!!! Pros: Jazz like you would expect from a city like New York or New Orleans Cons: they don't have a weekly place where you can see them & go dancing
