First let me say that when it comes to my hair I can be a no joke pain the butt to put it mildly. I've combed the earth over looking for the perfect hair God and I found him at Lauren Hair Style. His name is Jose, he can do a blowout that lasts for a week and I still get compliments. I have naturally curly hair and his blowouts withstand the nasty Philly summers even on the most humid of days. His color is sheer perfection, he is also quick but doesn't rush. Jose is a honest to goodness Hair God. I live in Philly and drive to wayne, waiting in traffic on 76, don't care, its worth it:) The best part is that the prices are BEYOND reasonable, Lauren, the owner is amazing, its the kind of place that is filled with good people with great energy. \r
You never feel like you were just transported into an episode of Ugly Betty;stuck with a bunch of pretentious fashion snobs along with their loyal clients sitting in their salon chairs just waiting to be transformed into the next Katie Holmes bob. \r
So if you have your own style (if not Jose will give ya one that is sure to bring compliments), if you love great people, awesome prices, and having fabulous hair, give Lauren's a try.
