Do not buy a car from Mair's. I just bought a Golf, was promised new tires and full front end/ engine service. When I went to pick up the car, it had not been inspected and they said we would have to come back to get it. It is a 2 hour drive for us, so we had our car checked out by our mechanic in the meantime. One of our \r ""new tires"" has dry-rot (not to mention that they put THREE different kinds of tires on the car), our serpentine belt is cracked and about to go, our rotors need replacing, we have rust around some of our brakes, our headlights are pointing random directions, and even our tail lights are not correctly ground. Needless to say we were very upset, we set an appointment at mair's to have the car inspected and when we arrived (after speaking with them 5 mins before), there was no one there, we left a message, and received no call back. We will be driving back tomorrow morning and intend on waiting until everything is fixed (we did have a small warranty). OVerall, they promised us quality and we got nothing of the sort, we were swindled.
