Review content:
My wife and I have been making a point to go out each Friday night to sample the great restaurants in Walnut Creek. We received a coupon to this restaurant from our credit card company, and so we eventually decided to give it a try. The coupon should have been our first major clue that this place has problems. Why would a great restaurant in Walnut Creek need a coupon?\r

This was by far the absolute worse food I've have ever been served in a restaurant. Even the water tasted dirty. I would bet that if we walked into any 6th grade glass and gave the kids a recipe to follow they could make the dishes taste better than the awful cooks produce at Stanfords in Walnut Creek.\r

There are so many great restaurants in Walnut Creek, you shouldn't waste a second of your life even thinking about this place.\r

The artichoke dip was greasy and over cooked and tasted awful. The pasta dish I ordered was awful. The crab sandwich we ordered had little crab (if any). Our conversation at the end of the meal was about how horrific the food was and where can we go afterwards to try and make our Friday night one that we would remember in a positive way.\r

The only good part about this meal was the bottled beer that my wife ordered, I guess they have not yet found a way to ruin that, but then we didn?t check the born on date.
Pros: ambience
Cons: food quality was horrific
