Review content:
I have to say that I'm surprised that Paul Hoffstein is actually a licensed dentist. At his office, he did his own cleaning, which would be fine except it was the fastest and least thorough cleaning I've ever received. It literally took about 5 minutes. He also told me that since my teeth are in 'such great shape', I would only need bitewing x-rays every 3 years - yet all of my molars except one have at least one filling, I have 2 crowns, and at my last dentist visit, before I moved to the area, I was told that one of my heavily filled back molars was crumbling in one corner and I would likely need a crown there soon. That dentist showed me in the mirror what he was talking about, and it is very easy to see the problem. This dentist took no note of it and said it looked fine when I pointed it out to him. I also believe the general standard is to have bitewing x-rays once per calendar year, every 2 years at the longest. I truly feel that this man was either paying no attention or had no idea what he was doing, and I assume that it goes without saying that I will never let him near my teeth again.
Pros: convenient location
Cons: careless, rushed service, no attention to detail, seeming lack of professional expertise
