This is one of the crappiest car rental places I've ever used, and I travel a lot. I happened to get a traffic ticket while in CA and got charged $25 by them for ""processing fees"" (making a photocopy of the ticket and forwarding it on). OK, fair enough. I had signed an agreement saying that (although they sent me a photocopy of someone else's agreement, not mine). Anyway, they charged me the $25 twice and I've spent the last month trying to get it reversed. The 6th time I talked to them they said they couldn't reverse it, but that I'd have to dispute it with my credit card company (!!!) - 8 calls later I just got it reversed. Also, their shuttle was ""broken down"" when I was there (or perhaps they don't have one judging by other reviews I've read with the same story) so the guy that picked us up was just in some passenger car - no sign, nothing. Almost didn't get in because I didn't know where the car was from. When we drove up to the door, we all got yelled at by an employee who told us we needed to ""move that car right away."" We were all a bit confused and then told him that it was his own driver who parked it there. Guess he didn't recognize his own driver or the makeshift shuttle car. Everything just seems a bit sketchy there. Oh, and like some other reviewers, my car was really dinged and scratched up, too. Thank goodness they didn't try to pin that on me! Oh, and P.S. for those from out of state. Don't run a yellow light! If you get at all caught when it turns red (even if you're almost through the intersection), you get a photo ticket. My red light ticket cost $466 (the standard amount).
