My room mate and I were college students when we rented from this company. The property was very nice aesthetically, except that when we moved in we discovered that there were numerous gas leaks in the property. It took them about 2 weeks to repair the leaks, which made my room mate and I move back to our parent's house until the repairs were complete (2 and 4 hours away from pittsburgh). We received no pro-rate or refund, even though the gas company said no one should live in the house until the repairs were complete.\r

Upon moving out of the house, they claimed that one month's worth of rent was not payed (which it was). While talking to them about this matter, i was treated very disrespectfully, as though I was a child, by one of the women in their office. While few of the people that work for this company are quite pleasant and professional, this one woman was very insulting, unprofessional, and flat-out insulting to us since the day we came in to sign the lease.\r

They are now throwing various charges at us after moving out, claiming that we didn't clean the kitchen and bathroom, even though we spent two days cleaning these areas of the house.\r

They treated us like children and with disrespect. I wonder if they treat all of their customers like this, or just the ones that are still in school?
Pros: The property looked nice
Cons: Company did not inspect property before putting it on the market, we were treated with disrespect.
