This was the most demeaning experience I have ever had when trying to spend my money. The sales people were wonderful, but they can only do what the management allows. The store manager is rude and dismissive. The furniture is cute, but over priced. You'll do better going to Art Van where you will find the same furniture and much lower prices and will not have to deal with an insensitive and insecure manager. This is a store that is designed to attract individuals who just don't believe they deserve better or can do better. Not all TEC stores are the same, however. The one in Westland is quite wonderful and the management is courteous and accomodating. If you live in Detroit and this is the only store you can go to because of transportation, go to the Salvation Army or just wait until you can save a bit more. You deserve better!! It uses bait-and-switch advertising to get you into the store. Don't believe the hype on the TV!!! Pros: Sales persons are nice. Cons: Manager is rude and dismissive.
