Review content:
I have used this location for years to provide oil changes, tires,tune-ups etc. There was a time a few years ago when Kelvin was the manager there and I felt he was honest and I was not being taken advantage of. I went in on 1/22/09 to check on motor mounts for my car. The salespersn was friendly and asked what price was she trying to beat. This immediately sent up red flags beause this let me know the price was negotiable. I then told her to just give me the best price and we would go from there. The price I was quoted for 2 mounts was $700. She then told me they needed to do a check of my car for anoher $20 to ensure it was motor mounts. I told her that since I was going to pay $700 for the mounts why should I pay $20 more. I left the shop went down the street to the Nissa dealership and got the original parts for $500!!!! Not to mention My car was detailed inside and out!!!!! I have had other issues with Firestone and want to speak out against them. Do not get caught up in their conveniece, do not asume you will get a better deal there than a dealership. Please shop around and really just use them for basics like oil and tire work. The turnover at that location is very high and I question the credentias of the mechanics.
