we needed a new compass on our boat so we went to shoreway and brought our old compass so they could see the size we needed a young kid helped us we asked him for a flush mounted one he showed us one we brought it and had to cut a hole in the boat to fit the new compass . we went out in the ocean and notice this compass directions were all messed up we came home went on ritchies website about compasses and the moron at shoreway sold us a bulkhead mount compass so we took it back and the idiot there still didnt understand he sold us the wrong kind of compass he said it wasnt his fault we cut a hole in our boat for the compass well isnt that what he told us and no where in the directions did it say it was a bulkhead mount . so now we can find a compass to fit the hole for the bulkhead compass and the owner of shoreway and the kid who works there were so rude its like to bad u have this hole in your expensive boat the kid made a mistake well if this kid and the owner are selling products for boats shouldnt they know what they are selling . shoreway used to be a big store now its a tiny store with no customers or stock i wonder why. how many boats have they screwed up . anyone beware they will tell you whatever you need to hear just to get a sale they must be desperate for money . no one there has a clue about boats . this isnt the first time we went in and no one there had a clue lucky we knew what we were buying and we had a clue but if you asked for a flush mounted compass and the guy selling it takes it out of the box to show you how to mount it and ask another employee there if its a flush mount and they are both saying yes it is why would u think it wasnt one. and than the owmer and employee make it like its your fault you put this compass in your boat and they take no responsibility for what they sold . do not shop there ripoff !!!!!!!!!
Cons: THEY HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT BOATS YOUNG KIDS WORKING HAVE NOTHING IN STORE
