Review content:
I've eaten at Los Robertos on a few occasions and both times have been impressed with the presentation but disappointed with the taste and texture. On my last visit I had a wet burrito but the tortilla seemed like it was just wrapped around the filling, and not toasted before being drenched in sauce. Apparently there are a few different sauces to try but for $1.75 just to put some sauce on a burrito seemed a bit much. The red sauce was too tomato-y for my taste and the flavors seemed muted. I've had the chicken and beef there and neither did much for me. The staff is friendly, to be sure, and our food arrived quickly, but I guess I wouldn't mind a bit more time spent on the cooking process, especially during off-peak hours. There are much better Mexican restaurants around but I'd eat here again, if anything to try something else in the hopes of discovering something I truly enjoy.
Pros: Large dining area
