Avoid Forbes Steel at all costs. I had a contract with Forbes Steel to build a 1200 square foot building for $20,000. I gave them a $5000 deposit, which is illegal according to the contractors state license board. Metal buildings like this are considered home improvement projects and they can only ask for 10% or one thousand dollars. They did nothing, except steal my money. One of their salesman assaulted me in my house in front of my disabled elderly mother.... When I called mark forbes he laughed and said ""I would have done the same thing."" Search court records, Forbes Steel has been sued for breech of contract and some of the key employees have crimial records. If you see these scum, comming towards you. Start running. Forbes Steel took my money and did nothing for it except terriorize my family. The Sheriffs would do nothing about it. This is why people refer to the high desert as ""VICTIMVILLE."" I HAVE ALL THE DOUMENTATION.
