I have to politely disagree with the other poster. I have suffered from chronic back pain needlessly for years. I bounced from doctor to doctor, specialist to specialist, and was either refused or given little treatment for my debilatating pain. That is until I started seeing Dr. Spag. He has been a Godsend in my life, and not only listens to me, but treats me as a human being in pain, and not as a drugg seeker as many other so called ""professionals of Medicine"" have. He treats not only my symptoms with adequate medication. He also treats the side effects of the medication and is not afraid to give you what you need to gain some semblance of quality of life. I admit, he does not have the greatest bedside manner ever seen, but he is fair and offers what most wont-relief from pain. Ive had many doctors who were super nice and had a great manner as they politely told me to suffer silently in pain while they refused to treat me. I would rather have a Doc who is not Mr. Super Friendly and actually treats my symptoms then one who nicely tells me to curl up and die quietly anyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Also, Dr. Spag is not a coldhearted man who does not care about his patience. Actually, Ive had many nice conversations with him on a variety of topics in the year and a half Ive been seeing him. So I regret that the other poster had a bad experience, but there are always two sides to the story and there must be more reasons than those listed for dismissal. Pros: Willing to do what is needed to help if you are willing to work with him. Cons: taking on more patients than should results in a somewhat long wait
