Review content:
I have gone to Mama's cafe several times, and the food has always been good enough, the service has been slow, but nothing to complain about until the last time I went. It was for my birthday dinner, so I had a group of friends there were probably 15 of us, we aren't a roudy or loud bunch. The waitress (whose name I dont recall) took a while to even take our drink orders, and then took longer to get us our drinks and take our dinner orders. We were all a little frustrated with the slowness, as we had a movie to catch afterwords and the place was not very crowded. But we never got drink refills and then the waitress came and I asked her for the check, she looked at me and huffed away like it was such a hassle to bring us the check, before I had the chance to make sure she understood it was seperate checks. She came back and handed me one check with 15 orders on it, I polietly told her that we needed seperate checks, she first told me that she could not do that, but when she realized we were all paying with credit cards, she changed her tune but not without taking the orginal check crumpleing it up and throwing on the table- but it actually hit a friend of mine. We were all appauled, and when a friend of mine said he did not want to give the tip because she didn't deserve it (since they did the mandatory tip for the size of our group) she told him too bad and walked away. \r \r I like the food, but havent been, and wont go back after that incedent.
