Review content:
When I moved in, I thought I'd found a little slice of heaven hiding north of town in a lovely residential area. I was highly disappointed with the degenerating quality of the apartments, and I was in utter disbelief of the way staff handled maintenance needs and their other professional obligations.
Location is great and it's nice that each apartment gets a garage and assigned parking space, but the apartments have been shifted from leasing agency to leasing agency over the years as each company realizes what a moneydump the place is and passes it on to the next victim. Air conditioners are failing, windows need replacing, exterior walls and ceilings are cracking, appliances are aging and not gracefully, heating is inefficient, and management (Meg Peters and her bosses upon whom she blames not being able to do anything) will not support the kind of renovations and repairs needed to make these apartments comfortably livable again. Maintenance is hamstrung by cheap bosses. You will pay more than anyone should have to for heat and cooling because of the aging heating and cooling units. Quality of neighbors is declining as more and more good residents become dissatisfied with the incompetence of management and move elsewhere. Don't let the ND discount fool you: it's not worth it. Find a place that is newer, safer, and more competently managed (they also own Candlewood, so look for them to decline in quality of service as well).
Office staff is unprofessional and unresponsive to anything but threats of legal action. They will try everything they can think of to avoid returning your deposit. Either every single employee is suffering from a case of supreme incompetence, or they are willfully, unprofessionally, and illegally withholding deposits from those who move out. And they always say they'll get back to you and never do.
Pros: big apts, low prices, ok neighborhood
Cons: OLD apts, incompetent/rude management
