Review content:
My husband and I have left our dog at K9's Only twice now in the past year. The first time was a great experience and they seemed to have genuinely cared for our dog. So we had no hesitation to bring him back again recently. But, I was surpised when we came to pick up our dog the last visit, that the groomer could not handle cleaning him properly. She claimed that she could not clip his nails or wash his ears because he did not like it. This seemed ridiculous to me, since other groomers can do the job, without any problems. And isn't this her job?\r

In addition, when we picked him up the second time, the staff seemed to care less about our dog. On our fist visit, we received a report card, which was quite unique. They claimed to have been too busy and understaffed the second time to give us a report card.\r
We were in a bind and needed a place for our dog to stay this upcoming weekend. I was told we could not drop him off on sunday as there was no front desk staff there. This is a bit annoying, but forgiveable. So we accepted we would have to drop him off on Saturday and pay the extra day. The clincher was when they told me that if we did not pick our dog up by 12:00pm on Tuesday, we would have to pay a late fee, even if we were only 1 hour late. Apparently, they act just like a hotel and there are no acceptions.Even though we had been there twice before, it made no diffrence. We decided we will not be boarding our dog there ever again. This is not because of the money, but, because they show no appreciation for the customer. \r

It seems like K9's Only has a bit of an attitude now. If you are seeking a nice, loving kennel to take your dog to, I would not reccommend K9's Only. They care more about their aromatherapy and canine suites with flat screen TV's, then they do about the care and comfort of the dog. I only hope that they go back to their roots and remember to appreciate the customer and their pets.
